In front of the Carniceria El Guero at 2920 W. Central Avenue is a new mobile food trailer called Taqueria Los Corrales. The owner told me that they are open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. With that many hours to choose from, it makes it really convenient for anybody to find some time. But you’ll want to remember to bring one thing with you, cash.

The menu was as simple as you could get, with tacos and burritos along with six different proteins to choose from. Technically, there were just five on my visit, as they didn’t have any tripas tacos available.
I ordered a couple al pastor tacos, an asada taco and chorizo taco. Each taco came with a double tortilla, cilantro, onions, salsa, and even beans.
Usually, I can find some positives in my meal, but there weren’t any to choose from on this visit. All the meats were extremely dry, bland, unseasoned and a little on the pungent side in terms of smell. I struggled to finish my tacos, and just wanted to hurry up, eat them, and get this quick review out. In a very competitive truck scene, I found this one to be in the lower tier of tacos.
On the bright side, they did say they hope to take credit cards soon.
Here’s the menu. They didn’t have any prices listed, but I know the tacos were $2.65 a piece (tax included)
