If you remember the original Caesar’s Table that used to be on Market Street, you may recall that they moved inside the Meritrust Credit Union building space on Main Street. After a brief change in ownership, the original owners are back and have renamed the restaurant Sam and Nancy’s.

The all-you-can-eat buffet over lunch time is $15.99, $7.99 for the salad bar and $9.99 for the soup and salad bar. They are also open for breakfast from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. where the buffet is $10.99.
I dropped by over lunch, where I happened to run into fellow food blogger, Significantly Spicy. We ended up going through the buffet line and eating together.
Sam and Nancy’s has a rotating menu and on that particular day it was Italian food. They had spaghetti, manicotti, Parmesan chicken along with chili and the salad bar.
If you love Dorothy Lynch dressing, they are one of the few restaurants that carry it. Of course, I made sure to get some.
We both thoroughly enjoyed the food. I know many times on buffets, the quality can be pretty plain, but Sam & Nancy’s did a great job of offering not just quantity but a decent quality. I want to avoid setting the expectations too high or making it seem like you’re getting a 3 Stars MICHELIN award-winning meal here. But for an all-you-can-eat restaurant, they did a fantastic job.
What I will set the expectation high on is their desserts. Any buffet purchase includes dessert. I went with the coconut creme pie and it was out of this world. After all the Italian food, I needed a light, not so rich, refreshing piece of pie and this one his the spot.
The staff there did a tremendous job. There was one person cleaning tables and constantly checking in on customers, which I really loved. Often times with buffets, it’s a set it and forget it mentality. There’s little focus on customers since it’s a serve yourself establishment. That wasn’t the case at Sam & Nancy’s.
Here’s the menu on the day I stopped by:
Happy Dining,
