It’s safe to say pumpkin spice season has begun. With that, Wendy’s is hopping on the wagon with the limited-edition Pumpkin Spice Frosty.
I’ve made it no secret that I love all things pumpkin spice, so I made sure to swing by the soonest I could
Currently, the only two options at Wendy’s are chocolate and pumpkin spice. Sorry, vanilla fans, the option was taken away to make room for pumpkin spice.
The new flavor is advertised as: “hints of cinnamon and nutmeg, you get a bite of fall flavor in every Wendy’s Pumpkin Spice Frosty spoonful.”
I wasn’t sure what to expect with this new frosty. The first bite caught me off guard and to be honesty, I didn’t like it at first. It was a very sharp and sweet pumpkin flavor; the cinnamon stuck out in a hard way. But with each bite, everything started to grow on me. To the point, I kept going and going.
This was the type of treat where it was best to devour it by spoon than a straw due to its creaminess.
Compared to past seasonal releases, though, I still preferred the strawberry frosty and put this pumpkin spice in a tie with the peppermint one.
People have about five weeks to give this limited-time option a try.
Happy Dining,
Eddy
