One of our latest food truck visits brought us to one of the older BBQ trucks in town.

They were parked at the Wichita State Food Truck Plaza. So some people and I swung over to the bright yellow truck to get ourselves some grub. We ordered literally everything on the menu. They had Carolina beef, chicken, brisket, bratwurst and pork. Everything on the menu was $8 which was a great deal for food truck BBQ.
The carolina beef with the slaw was far and away our favorite of all the items. The coleslaw is truly the star of the truck and made every meal better. The pulled pork had a mixed reaction within our group. Some loved it while others thought it as bland. The brisket and bratwurst were the main dislikes of everything we ordered.
Overall it was a real mixed reaction for our group. Some liked it while others decided to pass on future visits. Everybody did agree though that the slaw was amazing and worth going back for a side at a food truck event.
The employees there were very memorable though. They were pleasant and extremely quirky. They had a certain charm to them that was odd but funny. This is one of those trucks you’ll just have to try for yourself and see if you like it.
