The latest addition to the fleet of mobile food trailers in Wichita is Burritos & Bowls. It’s a whole focus is breakfast staples served in burrito or bowls. The local veteran owned and operated business made their debut in Wichita this week and we made a quick stop to get an idea of what you can expect.

The menu at Burritos & Bowls was very simple. You could get a breakfast burrito or bowl with eggs, potatoes, cheese, peppers and onions. Your protein options consisted of bacon, sausage or a combination which includes both options and ham. There was also an omelette option available upon request for an upcharge.
On my first time out, I went with their combination breakfast bowl which was a huge heaping portion of food. I’m not quite sure the picture does it justice, but it was a ton of food that I couldn’t even finish. As far as big piles of egg, breakfast meats and veggies go, this about as good as you could get. It wasn’t anything over the type, just a simple meal that was executed well and served to make sure you don’t leave hungry.
